Originally from Shawinigan and trained at the ITHQ, Rémi Lemieux rose to become one of the youngest chefs to run the kitchen at Au Pied de Cochon, and did stints at Osteria Francescana and Le Bernardin. After Norest and Mémo in Old Montréal and a turn on Top Chef Canada, he opened the downtown bistro Le Grand Comité in 2026, with a smaller tasting-room project, Le Petit Comité, planned downstairs.
