Matthew Shefler founded Knuckles in 2020 by turning an old neighbourhood dépanneur in Villeray into a tiny restaurant. In July 2026 he and chef Vincent Lévesque-Lepage opened Nonno's, an all-day pizzeria and social club, where he runs the dining room and built much of the interior himself.
